Does anyone else have this problem.  I have a regular phone (that worked fine with Vonage).  It has the "Message Waiting" indicator light and now that I have switched to Verizon FiOS Phone service this light blinks whether there is a New Message or not.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a Radio Shack phone that blinked when I had a message on the machine.  My phone service prior to FIOS was by Verizon.  How do I know that there is a message waiting without calling up?

SOLUTION ALERT - Yes I finally got this fixed.

After getting a very competent Verizon FiOS Tech Specialist he loked at my account, saw that it wasn't even set up to have the "Message Waiting Indicator" service.  It required a complete reset of my phone service (including loss of Answer message, etc.) but once it was reset it works.

It's great cause now we can know if we have a message waiting or not.
