The one word that sums up why I am writing this blog. I am frustrated by Verizon FiOS and their inability to take a basic order. I am frustrated that they feel empowered to dig up a lawn without scheduling installation. I am frustrated that they have disconnected my phone number without an order and won’t help me get it back. But mostly I am frustrated because they don’t treat their potential customers like human beings…instead they follow rote procedures designed to efficient and overly compliant with the law at the expense of providing a humanizing experience in dealing with their customer service department.
This blog will detail my ongoing saga - over the next 24 hours I will post documentation of everything that has happened to date and from that point forward I will keep a running diary of things as they occur.
